What I am doing here is forwarding some of the e-mails I have been receiving from customers for the last week or so. At first I though it was an aol problem. These emails are from customers with various email addresses. Of course I won't show their actual email address here. Also note from my PSM keys that my auctions that have ended in the last 2-3 days have no response! Customers are not getting their WBN's!!!!

Hello,

Thank you for this information. Please try altering the subject title of your WBNs -- there may be something there that is preventing them from being received.

Regards,

Sonya

Thanks for replying Sonya. But again like I already told you(see the other post) I have not change my wording at all in my subject line recently. It does not contain words such as congratulations, winner, etc.
This is a real problem that needs to be resolved. Understand this, please, every single one of my customers in the last week have not received the WBN. These examples I have sent is just a small part of what I have actually received fron sometimes irate customers.

Hi Gottaluve,

I understand that it is frustrating they are not receiving them. I have kept my eye out for similar problems and have not seen any which is why I suggested to alter the wording a bit, even if you haven't changed anything recently.

If you try to send the WBN manually, do they receive them?

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya,
Okay I just altered my wording in the subject line and I just manually sent one. We'll see. I just don't understand why this is happening now and to all my auctions! In the past, I very rarely have had my customers tell be that they didn't receive the wbn. I need this to get resolved one way or the other.

Hey gottaluve,
Don't mean to butt in here with your problem. Perhaps you've already done this but I had a similar problem.

Go to Inventory and scroll down. Make certain that Send WBN Automatically checkmark is checked. I have added items to inventory or copied stuff and missed checking that box.

My responses have increased since I changed my subject line at the suggestion of another thread in this forum.

WIN NOTICE - PLEASE READ: %%Site%% Auction %%AuctionId%%

Good luck.

Bill

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the help. I have the "automatically send wbn to winner" checked off in my global preferences. Plus I receive a copy of the WBN after each closed auction, that supposedly means the customer is also receiving theirs. I just don't get it.
I forgot to mention until today I have been using the same subject line "high bidder contact" %%auctionid%%. Just changed it today to "check-out link for %%Auctionid%% with hopes that something is going to give here.

Gottaluv, I just wanted to let you know I have been having the same problem you are having with people who have Aol getting the checkout emails they also are not getting the shipped emails. It has been going on for about a week now. If you figure out how to fix the problem let me know.

Thanks, Ricelle

Hello

I have the same problem with my customers on AOL. Usually it's AOL so called spam filters that are the culprit. It is a big nuisance since more people are using their ...... service.

Gilles

I have had the same problem here, mostly with AOL and some with Hotmail accounts.

Same problem with aol, hotmail & couple others. I used to be able to reach bidders that I couldn't reach by email by sending another WBN with my email message at the top or through eBay mail but these people are not getting any of them. AOL says it is their filters/settings but there is no way to tell them and I doubt they would know how to fix anyway. I wish AOL would send a notice to all their members about the problem and what to do if they feel they are not getting their messages. I'm considering a message in my auctions but have no idea how to tell them to fix the problem.
