Short of turning off auto WBN is there any way to go into auction and check the postal costs? I am losing my shirt beacuse of my under estimating weight. There are other questions too but this is the burning one. Thanks!
You can check what you have set by going to Active, selecting the auction you want to check, and hitting Set WBN. Then on the following page, select the auction again and hit Edit WBN -- this will display what you have entered for your shipping. The other way to check is hit the Copy link for that auction in the Action column of your Active Auctions section. A copy of that auction will automatically appear in pending, where you can look at it and see what you entered.

So, if I copy and change anything.. after saving changes...do I delete the copy or will this erase changes?
I use Profiles to prewrite some auctions, they have not transfered to the Active file after Lauch. Can I delete them or will that erase Auctions?
In the check out, say wins 3 auction, I combine, will the different weighs be added together and correct postage posted. That is as the settings are now. Thanks for the help. I seem to be having a mental block about using this service. It seems confusing, I must be doing something wrong.
Using Copy is just an alternate way to see what you entered for your shipping dimensions. If you need to change something, follow these steps:
1. From Sales Manager, click on Active
2. Select the items you wish to edit the WBN for and click the Set WBN icon
3. Select one item and hit the Edit WBN icon
You'll then be on the edit WBN screen, where you can change your weight and your shipping dimensions.
Deleting profiles will not erase an active auction.
Are you using calculated shipping? When you are combining 3 items you can select the 2nd shipping option, which is to combine all three as one order, then choose USPS calculated as your payment method. You can then enter the weight and the dimensions for the order as a whole.

Sonya, I got the WBN changed yesterday, thanks. Let me see if I got this right.....Say UPPS Priority fixed is choice on auction. When I combine I have to change shipping choice to calculated? Is that it??
Seems so simple, I thought that was what I was doing but it didn't seem to work. Right now I don't have anything up that this should affect. It is math anyway yu put it and my mind has never been able to wrap itself around math easily, sorry.
You just have to make sure that you have USPS priority calculcated selected when you combine, because you'll be entering a new weight and new shipping dimensions for the items together. If you don't select that, it won't matter if you enter a weight and dimensions, because what will most likely happen is the winner will get the WBN and see that your shipping is $0.00 and they'll choose that and expect free shipping.
I know it can be a bit confusing but it makes more sense when you actually go through the process. Let me know if you have any more questions.
