I decided to try to schedule auctions for the first time. I have several that I scheduled to launch 8/27, yesterday at 6 p.m. pst. They did not launch. Will you please look at them and tell me why? TIA

Hi Ramabele,
I see 16 auctions in your pending, however none of them are scheduled to launch. I do see a group that launched yesterday, were those the ones you were referring to?

Hi Sonya,
You see a group that launched yesterday?
What time did they launch? At 6 p.m. pst? That is the time I had scheduled for them to launch. Why are they still in pending? Why aren't they showing in my active auctions?

Hi Ramabele,
I was referring to the ones currently in your active auctions. However I just looked again and realized I mixed up my dates, those were launched on the 26th. The ones in pending do not look like they had been scheduled for launch at all.

Then I have a problem. I did schedule them...all 16 of them to launch 8/27 at 6 p.m. pst. Tell me if I am doing it wrong. Exactly what procedure should I follow to schedule them?

Hi Ramabele,
To schedule your items, go to the edit screen for the auction. At the bottom next to the Launch link, you should see drop downs for the date and time and a Schedule link. You would select the date, the time, and hit "Schedule".
I have been practicing relisting/scheduling. I do remember now, auctions in pending never did show the remaining time before launch, so for some reason, they never were scheduled! Can you guess what button I might have forgotten to click to make this happen? From now on, I will be sure to check the pending schedule for remaining days/hours until launch time...if it does not show anything at all, I will know it was not saved!

Hi Ramabele,
When you hit Schedule, the next screen that shows should be a screen telling you that your item has been scheduled for launch at x day and x time. If you don't get that screen then you'll know that the auction hasn't been scheduled so you should go back and repeat the process again. Please let me know if you have trouble scheduling again.

Thank you Sonya,
This is becoming a comedy of errors!
Now I can't cancel the scheduled auctions I used to practice with! I am getting error messages saying "These auctions are scheduled for launch and cannot be deleted". How do I cancel them?

Hi Ramabele,
If you want to unschedule an auction, go to Pending and select the auction and hit the Cancel button. If you can't do it let me know and I'll unschedule for you.

I have no "Cancel" button. Under pending the three button are: Select All, Resubmit, and Delete. I tried delete and it won't delete it. So I tried to resubmit thinking I might cancel through that venue and got this message:
Resubmit Auctions
Auction Manager is unable to re-submit one or more selected auctions. Possible reasons for this error are:
the listing is already scheduled to be launched
the listing has a pre-existing error state unrelated to availability of the auction venue
the listing does not contain complete data, or
the listing does not contain a valid template

Hi Ramabele,
On the left you should see a link called Pending. If you click on that, you will be able to follow the directions that I gave you. If you want to do it from the main control panel, click the title of the auction, scroll down to where it says Undo Launch and click on that.
