My pictures are still missing from my image hosting page, and my auctions. No one else seems to be complaining, so is it just me? I am wondering if other people can see the pictures, even though they are not on my screen. It is not a problem with my ISP, and I have cleared my cache, is there anything else I can do. Sometimes they come back for a few minutes, and then go again.

Hi Sonya, no, I don't, but I have a laptop which has the same problem, but it is to the same internet connections. I have auctions on Bidville and the pictures are showing up just fine on there. My connection to AW is very slow, every page is taking an age to come up, but it is just AW, the other sites are just fine. A lot of the time I can't even get on to AW, I think it is timing out.

o.k. I've run a virus scan, disabled my firewall, (although it has been on for a long time with no problem), and called my ISP again, they are still saying they have no problem, so now what? Still no pictures!

Hi Amber,
Are you connecting through dialup, sattelite or through dsl/cable? What browsers and operating systems did you try to access your images on? Please let me know as much information as you can so we can try to figure out where the problem lies.

I am able to see all your images fine. Both through AuctionWatch and on eBay. Have you checked with your ISP to make sure that everything is working properly there?

thank you for quick reply. i can see them now. not sure what happened there. went in, and saw no photos, and thought deja-vu on last week. all is well.

I have to tell you how much I appreciate your fast answers and efforts to help. I use a dial-up system, Outlook Express. I am not sure what you mean by operating system, I just click on AW, and there were no pictures in my "image hosting" page, just squares with a red X, and when I got to eBay, again no pictures, but on Bidville where I have pictures directly through Bidville, they are fine. My pictures are back today, so I hope they are going to stay this time. I was on the phone to my ISP for 20 minutes yesterday, and they could find no problem. The thing I don't understand is that I am having no problem in any other area. My connection to AW has speeded up also, so maybe that was the problem.

Hi Amber,
I'm glad to see that you are able to view your images again. The reason we asked you to check with your ISP is because it looked like there were problems with their connection to our servers. However since you can see them again, you no longer have to worry. Also by operating system we meant the version of Windows you were using.
