Hi guys, I have more questions. (I'm redoing everything to try to streamline things). BIG QUESTION - when I create a profile I enter the store info and the auction info for a single item. (I switch items back and forth regularly). However, when I go to create a new item using that profile it only saves the info for part of that profile (ie: If I create it in storefront it saves storefront info only - the auction info from the profile does not carry through) I have to then edit each item individually to put in the other info eventhough it's exactly the same as the info in my original profile. There must be a way to only have to enter info ONE TIME for a specific type of item and have that info carry through on it's profile without having to re-edit every time. I just can't seem to figure it out. PLEASE HELP. I am erasing all old info and starting over, rebuilding the store and inventory for better management - ie: lots of input and I need to get it right before I start. Thanks.

Hi Planejane,

If you fill out as much information as you can in inventory you should have no trouble. Even the information that you select in the site specifics setup will carry over. What information is not coming over?

Regards,

Sonya

Sonya, here's a specific, perhaps you can see what I'm doing wrong. The proile name is " HTML CHARM FINAL "and the item I created using that profile is " PONY horse taupe charm bracelet ". If you go to edit that pony item in inventory, the auction info from original profile is missing - reverted to 0's.
Thanks again.

Hi Planejane,

So you originally had the HTML Charm Final as a profile item. You then used that, to create an auction from inventory, and when you were editing that inventory you checked off the "save to inventory" box and then noticed there was missing information from the Auction Information tab? Is that what you did? Please let me know the steps if that isn't it, so that I can try to run through them myself and see what the problem is.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya, I take it from your last email to me that there is no way to create an item with both auction and storefront info saved at one time. Can you please forward this to product development. If I am going to enter hundreds of items that means a lot of redundant editing just to get the information in the system. When you go to create a new listing, perhaps you could check off all the places that the info will apply and then create it (ie: I would check off both Ebay and Storefront) This would save several steps. Thanks.

Hello,

I will do that for you...however if you can, please respond to the email that I sent you and I will use that information and send it to Product Development.

Hi Sonya, I did respond, but for some reason it wasn't posted.
IT READ:
Hi Sonya, I went to create listing, pulled up the HTML CHARM profile, clicked on create in storefront, created the PONY changing only the info in the description area, clicked on create it. Went to Inventory, clicked on edit for the PONY item to see if all info was correct, and found that info for auction was missing:
YOU REPLIED:

Okay I see what you mean now. Since it was created to be a store item, the auction information is not going to carry over. You would need to enter it in after it appears as a store item in your inventory.
