Will a payment received notice be sent when I fill in payment information and click apply payment?

I don't want a notice to go out. Does checking the payment received box make a notice go out?

I don't have any of the automatic notice boxes checked.

Hi Greatlakes,

In the PostSale | FulfillmentChecklist page for an item you may check payment received box. A notification is sent to your buyer only when you click on the "send payment rec'd notice" link. This notification will not be sent automatically, unless you choose so in your PostSaleMgmt preferences to be found under MyAcct in top-nav.
