How do I find out more about these - I read another post about them and something about import features??
I am very interested in using this tool and don't mind HTML's (too much).
Can you tell me where to get the information on this.
Thanks

Hello,

The embedded layout template is made for users that write their own HTML to do their own image placement. It will not allow images to be attached through our system with this layout.

The mention about importing is related to our being able to pick up the images within an embedded template selected from here and import them back into your account for you. If you had a bunch of HTML code you were using in your listings, the embedded template could then go out and import all of those images, once you import the listing, and make them available for use via AuctionWatch.

I'm not sure I totally understand? Is this like what you would do to put a photo in the body of your auction?
Is there something you have to unlock as the template suggest or you just type in the HTML?
Can I use a HTML to put a photo that I had in my AW image file? This is what I really want to do - is this possible?
Thanks

Hello,

You can do that with any of the templates. You would just need the URL to your image. If you need directions on how to obtain the URL let me know.

Hello,

To obtain the code which contains a link to your image, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Image Hosting page within Auction Manager
2. Check the box next to the image(s) that you wish to attach to your auction
3. On the bottom of the page, click the "attach" button
4. From the drop down, select "Other Auction Site (Generate HTML)" and click "Continue"
5. On the next page, copy and paste the entire block of HTML (which includes your image URL) into the description box of the auction listing form.

If you wish to use only the image URL, it/they will be embedded in the HTML code generated by our system.

Regards,

Sonya

I am pretty sure I can do this - I'll get back if I have any more questions.
