Hi guys, I'm trying to put default info into the ebay invoice "Payment Information" box. I want to leave permanent payment instructions there so I don't have to type it in on each and every invoice. For ex: "Paypal-Billpoint-Bidpay-Check-Money Order all acceptable! Ebay says the only way to do it is by using their "sell your item form". I don't want to do that because then I miss out on the advantages of using Auctionwatch re. image hosting - auction scheduling etc. Is there anyway that I can do it through the Auctionwatch format? Please advise. Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,
You are referring to the one on eBay Checkout, correct? If so, just type it in the box there in eBay Site Specifics so that it becomes a default. You don't have to enable eBay checkout, it will appear there regardless.

Hi Sonya, thanks for the quick reply. I tried it out and will have to wait until my new listings that are going on tomorrow night end in 10 days to see if it worked. I'm sure that it won't show up on my existing auctions or will it? Be nice if it would. Thanks again, Steve

Hi Steve,
Unfortunately it won't show up on the currently active listings. You'd probably have to edit those individually and even then I don't know if you can fill in that box on an edit screen. If it doesn't work let me know.

Hi Sonya, that's ok. I didn't think it would work on the current listings. But a guy can hope can't he?. I just hope it works on the future ones. I know it's not a big deal to type those few words - but on a good ending night I can have 15-20 ebay invoices to send out and then it becomes a big deal. By the way - remember all the hullabaloo about the new postage rates and how everyone was yelling at Auctionwatch to come up with a viable system for quoting rates. well ebay has made it quite easy. Every sold auction that ends has a zip code attached for the winning bidder on the ebay invoice. Voila! - weigh the item - figure the rate from a PO rate chart and it's easier then it ever was. Don't have to send an email to the winning bidder asking for a zip code and waiting until they write back. I find that 75% of my winning auctions are now paid for within 24 hours either with paypal or billpoint. So someone actually made life easier for us hard working sellers. Thanks again, Steve
