Sorry if this has been asked, but if there's a way to search the forums (or the FAQs!) I haven't found it yet.
I'm online in Sales Manager entering inventory items, and there's a checkbox at the top for "make this a profile item". What does that mean? Dare I hope it's a way to make it easier to list a bunch of very-similar-but-not-quite-the-same items without starting from scratch for each item?

If you check that box then when you go to create a new listing you can select that item then click ebay or where ever you want to list it. It will then go to the listing page with all the info filled in and you can edit the parts you need to change to fit a similar item.

Sapington is right (thanks!): if you save an inventory item as a profile, you can use this profile to easily create and launch new items on different venues. In the CreateListing page, simply select the inventory profile, then click on the venue (provided you have entered venue specific information at creation time !). In the next page make the final modifications and hit launch.
