Can anyone tell me how to bypass the "billing address" portion of the wbn. Makes no sense, and does cause some buyers to dislike our wbn.

You cannot bypass the billing address. This has been a source of discussion and complaint for months, but AW refuses to do anything about it. They have even acknowledged this is confusing to buyers. Very few people need the billing address (only those taking credit cards directly), and it's unneeded probably 95 percent of the time.
Form should have shipping address first with billing address section only needed to be filled out if the person is paying by credit card AND the billing address is different from the shipping address. This is on a growing list of issues AW refuses to address or even offer a status report.

Diana, thanks for your response. But this "idea" has been around for a while. It really seems that it would be in AW's best interests to escalate the solution. We can't really see that it is a difficult thing to do. It has to ocurr to every buyer that sees this, that it is very strange. It would also solve the problem of the buyer forgetting to specify country in the billing address, then getting into an endless problem when, in response to the error message, trying to correct it in the ship-to form. When the buyer gets that "enter country" error message, the country field that is on his screen is not the one that needs changing. I will bet that most of the buyer comments about the awful wbn process are related to these two shortcomings. Can't AW please help us out here? Pretty please?
