4:30 PM Eastern Time, and I still can not attach images to existing auctions. Image hosting has been messed up all day, and part of last night! Why is there nothing on the announcement board about this?

We are not experiencing any technical difficulties on our end this afternoon. I do know that eBay is having some troubles - what exactly is happening when you try to attach your images? Do you get an error of some sort?

Hello, Diana.....
I still can not attach images. When I try to attach images to an existing auction, the message I get is: "Couldn't find password. Please alert [email protected] ."
This error message started at 1:30 AM Monday morning, Eastern time. By 7:30 AM Monday morning, I was able to attach images once again. But then at 9:00 AM Eastern time, the error message once again prevented me from attaching images. It is now 6:30 PM
Eastern time, and I still can not attach images. More fun!
Is this an eBay problem, then? I noticed their site was down for about an hour this afternoon.

Hello Greg,
I would recommend going to eBay and signing on there. You might need to enter a security code and wait 24 hours before you can continue attaching your images through our system.
If it is imperative to get your images attached today, you can use the "copy/paste" method (select "other auction site" from the drop-down method, then copy/paste the code into the "add to your auctions description" form on eBay.)

Hello again, Diana,
I a bit confused here. Sign in on eBay, and
enter a security code? Where, and why, would I need to do this? I'm already registered with eBay, and have been for 4 years with 2,800 feedback.
Has anyone else had this problem, and is it related to eBay's technical problems earlier today?
You may need to log in at eBay due to a new security feature they have with their sign in process. Once you have logged into eBay, just resubmit those images and they should go through if their new login was the cause for this failure.

Hi, Chris....
I tried what you suggested; I signed in on eBay and typed in my user ID, my password, and the 4 digit security code they gave me.
I then returned to Auctionwatch, but I still can't attach images to existing auctions....I still get the error message, "Couldn't find password."

You have to wait until eBay no longer requires you to enter in that security code. Until then, you can continue to attach images through the copy/paste method explained earlier directly on eBay.
