When I use ebay's Second Chance Offer option, if the bidder looks at the offer, but chooses not to accept, will I be charged the AW 10cents per picture fees? Ebay charges no fees for this service (only final value fees).

Also, if the bidder accepts, how do I go about getting the auction into my closed auctions so that I can use post auction tools? I do not mind paying AW final value fees - how will this work?

Hi Mycoolstuff,

You are on the standard plan, so relisting an auction on eBay as Second Chance will give you the 10 cents per image charge on each image in that listing. When you have those auctions live, you can use the Import tool from Sales Manager to get them into your account -- but you have to make sure you do it before the person you are making the second chance offer to buys it, or it won't work. The Post Sale keys will appear on it when it closes and goes down to post sale.

Regards,

Sonya

Question #1: If I import the auction before it closes, what will AW fees be?

Question #2: Is there a way to launch a second chance offer thru AW so that my AW fee will only be 10cents (5cents after 50launches) instead of 40cents since I have 4 pictures?

Hello,

The charges associated with importing would be on image hosting, unless you were on one of the monthly plans (where image hosting is included). Unfortunately we do not support second chance offers, these have to be done through eBay.

What if the auction closes before you go through AW?

Hello,

If you don't import it before it closes you won't be able to use post sale on it. So you will need to make sure you use Import right after you make the offer.

Sonya
