Is there any way to find a copy of varioius post-sale e-mails that are sent to buyers (other than the WBN which I have defaulted to send a copy to me)?

For example, when I send a pymt rec'd or item shipped notification (& sometimes I edit them a bit), I can not find a copy of it anywhere? It seems to me that there should be a way to review and/or confirm the notices that buyers are sent! I realize that the system marks the task with a check mark, but what if:

1) a customer disputes ever receiving several email's?

2) a seller needs to verify how many notices have been sent (if more than one has been sent)?

3) a seller needs to verify the edited version of what was sent?

If I'm not doing something right than please tell me what it is, otherwise can this be changed? Thanks

Hi Debdavis2,

You can preview all the notifications that you send to customers. You are usually given the option prior to confirming the send of the notice. Unfortunately you can only see how many times you sent a WBN but I can log a request with Product Development to count the number of times you send reminders or notifications.

Sonya,

Thank you for your reply. Maybe I didn't explain very well, sorry. I realize that I can "preview" all notices sent (and edit if necessary), but I am wondering why we don't have the option of requesting a copy to be sent to us the same way the WBN has that option? OR, being able to go in a seller's AW account to be able to review all notices that have been emailed.

There have been several times in which I have needed to verify/confirm an email notification sent to a buyer. In some cases I will need to edit the wording or relay other information within these emails. If there is a question concerning anything I've sent my buyer, there is no way for me to look back and review what was sent, what it said, when it was sent or how many times I've sent it?

Hope I've explained more clearly and thanks for addressing & forwarding the suggestion of seeing the number of times any given notice has been sent to buyers.

Hello,

Unfortunately there isn't an option available to have a copy sent to you but I can add that to the suggestion as well. The easiest way to review what you would have sent to someone, is to preview the notification. You can do it easily from the fulfillment checklist.

Sonya

Sonya,

I guess the real problem is my memory! There are too many times when I will send (after previewing) an edited notification and then over a short or long period of time, if a question or problem arrises with that buyer or transaction, I can't remember exactly what was said or the date it was sent. I'm hoping I'm not the only one who has this problem....

Anyway, thanks again for submitting these requests.

Debra

Hi, an additional copy sent to us sounds good. What I would like to see is a different winning bid notice available just for the combined auctions. If we could have the option of picking the default winning bid notice for a single auction or combined auction that would be nice. When I combine 3, 4, or more items, I have to change or edit the WBN before I can send it out..Just a wishin....thanks..WCP
