Hello,
I try since yesterday to upload one by one images witch are under 250k and with netscape it says:"the operation timed out when apptempting to contact wsacp.auctionwatch.com."

And with E.exporeri get:"a connection failure occured."
Why do i get this?do i have to update someting,is it because I have adsl?

Hi Zabata,

Ptry the following:

1. The first thing to try if you are using Internet Explorer is to install all available Microsoft updates. To do this, click on "Tools" on your browser tool bar. Then:

-Click on "Windows Update".
-Click on "Product Update" on the Microsoft site.
-Wait while Microsoft determines what software updates are needed.
-Click on "Critical Updates".
-Install "Critical Updates".
-Restart your computer.

2. Clear your browser cache, and/or using a different browser to view your images or access our website.

3. I noticed you are an AOL user -- please try an alternate access number if there is one available for your area.

4. Check any web monitoring tools you may be running to make sure image viewing is enabled.

5. If you are having trouble viewing images or uploading, make sure that your images do not exceed 150kb apiece, and/or try uploading them in smaller numbers. Also, try using the "Manage Images" link within Sales Manager rather than the Image Hosting tab.

If this does not help, and you are having trouble with image viewing/uploading please try this:

1. Go to Start -> Run
2. Type in tracert -d imagehost.auctionwatch.com
3. Let us know the IP address of the last entry (this should be 66.7.130.10)

If you are not having trouble specifically with images, or the tracert disappears and you are unable to copy the results, please try using a different tool, which is available for free download - this is a tracert tool that can be used to monitor your connection with any internet site. Here is the URL to download this tool (WinMtr):

Be sure to save the WinMtr.exe file to you desktop. Once this is downloaded, open the application and type www.auctionwatch.com in the host field. Let the trace run for about 1 minute, then stop and email a copy/paste of the results to us. This will help us determine if and where any packet loss is occuring.

excuse me but wath you are telling me does not make any differences....
my picture are the right size ;
I try to upload properly ....it's not the first time I do this!!!
I cleared all cache ...
IT STILL DON'T WORK...
IT REALLY GET TO MY NERVS
DO YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER CARE SEVICE BY PHONE????????????

Hi Zabata,

Unfortunately we are not setup for phone support at this time. Have you tried another access number for your internet service? If you have tried all of that please do the tracert and post the results in this thread.

I had to send my images to someone in the states to be uploaded from there!!!!!!!!!!!
Why is that?

Hi Zabata,

Unfortunately it is hard for me to determine what the problem is, as we did not get any system information from you and no response to the workarounds that we posted. If you continue to have image upload problems, please try the workarounds we provided and let us know the results -- especially the tracert.

But wath exactly means:
1. go to start->Run???
