Morning...a friend told me it is a good idea to have an extra thumbnail picture on each listing and the cost is $.25. For instance, if a buyer is doing a search for "quilt," the buyer can view the small picture to the left of the listing and make a snap decision as to wether or not, he wants to view the actual listing. The small picture appears beside the "Item Title." I am unable to figure out how to get that picture included with my listing. Any help? Thanksk.

You will find this option with the other eBay promotional extras that you can buy like bold, highlighted, featured, featured plus, gift icon, etc, on the online listing pages or under the middle tab on the create listing form in SMPro. It is labeled "Add my picture to gallery" and shows a .25 charge. You can choose which picture you want. That puts it in the gallery and generates the title bar picture. According to eBay stats, having a title bar picture generates 11 percent higher bids.

to abqsales or aw, i use the gallery feature on all my listings but none have a title bar picture.. i just thought it was another feature not supported by AW.. am i missing something? i'd like that title bar pic! thanks for any assistance. s
If you do a search by your item title you will see the picture right there next to your title. I did it for a few of your listings and was able to see it.

hi sonya, after i posted that, i started wondering that maybe we're not talking about the same thumbnail? .. i was referring to the one carried on many auction listings at the top of the item page to the left of the title bar, not the one in the general listing pages.
is there support for the thumbnail on the item list page? thanks, s
Thank you for the clarification -- I think this can only be done on eBay as part of their Ipix (their image host) but I'll need to check on that for you.
