I started using Mailstep - it seems like a great timesaver since I have a lot of people who don't like the checkout. I changed the primary e-mail address on PayPal so it's the mailstep address. But when people pay by clicking on the link on the eBay auction site, they get my regular e-mail address and then the payment doesn't go through mailstep. Is there a way to change the PayPal address within eBay? Do I have to get rid of the other address on PayPal?
Which link are you referring to, the one above the auction listing? Please let me know. Also are these auctions that previously had your old PayPal email address on them or the mailstep one?

Hi Sonya - I think I did set up these auctions before I set up the mailstep. I'm not sure which link the buyers are using - probably the one at the top of the page.
I keep getting confused when I change things on AuctionWatch in the middle of the auction (like handling charges, etc.) and I can't tell how it's going to work with the auctions already running. So this must be another case of that. So when I start new auctions, it will be with the new PayPal address, then everything should work? That will be fine.
I just have to settle on exactly how I'm going to do things and stick with it. The transitions are frustrating.
Your new auctions will have the correct mailstep email address on them. If these were launched prior to changing it like you say, they'll contain the old one -- unfortunately changing something like that in global preferences does not affect listings that are already active.
