Can you explain this message. I listed some auctions in two categories.
The following message was returned from the scheduler while attempting to list your auction:

The venue ebay has possibly returned the following message:
Error 87: Invalid Category.
The category selected is not a leaf category.
If this message indicates you must "put a credit card on file", please click here to verify your ebay account is up to date.
If this message indicates "failed in payment methods", please click here and select at least one payment type
If this appears to be a problem related to ebay, please check here

Hi Dorrie,
When you get an Invalid Category message, that means that you have selected a category to list in, that has sub categories. You will need to reselect your category until you reach the end of the category tree.

I had one experience with improper category also. I was trying to put an item in a "related" category, where I hoped to attract extra interest. <p>
I believe that there is some sort of Keyword system on eBay that will prevent you from listing anything they feel is totally unrelated to the category.<p>
I noticed that when I changed the category to the "normal" one, I had no problem at all!<p>
now I'm wondering how all these lingerie people keep pasting their 500 items all over the little old lady categories! lol
