I just listed about 40 auctions on eBay motors and tried to import them here, but, no go so far. I know it is not immediate, but will they import?
There are some issues currently with the track and import tools. They should be able to import eBay Motors items, and engineering is checking into the cause of this issue. We hope to resolve this as quickly as possible.

I sure hope you fix it before the auctions end! I have now 61 auctions up in eBay Motors and I will not be happy if I can't use the post management tools here!
The post sale management tools were not setup to process items created from outside of AuctionWatch. While we have always supported importing of items for viewing purposes, the post sale system was simply never designed to process non-AW items.
As a fluke, you could manipulate the system and use the tools anyway, but we cannot guarantee that this behavior will always be the same as changes and updates are made to the site. Ideally, when the track/import issue is corrected, you may be able to use this workaround again.

Just an update for you. I am able to import anything except eBay Motors.
I realize that AW is not concerned about this because if I list directly with eBay and don't use even the image hosting here, it generates no fees for AW.
However, I pay AW plenty through 3 different accounts, and by not being able to use the post sale management tools for these 61 auctions, it is forcing me to look at other auction management companies. Why would AW want me to sample the competition's wares?
Who knows, if I find one I like better than AW, I might consider moving all my business there. All for $6.10 plus 1% FVF loss for AW, probably less than $10 total since they are selling for $3 each.
The problem with this scenario is that while our import and tracking tools are working again, they were never designed to support importing Motors items. Additionally, the post sale tools were never setup to support non-AW listings.
We did not intentionally disable this feature, it was simply never setup to work this way. If you can find loopholes in the system to make it work anyway, that is fine, but we cannot guarantee that it will always behave the same way as fixes are implemented and updates are made.

I THINK AW NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY CONSIDER WHAT stance it will take on this issue , If by a fluke the engineers left the system open so imported auctions can be processed through post sale , and now you cant figure out how to maximize this function and threaten it may be discontinued is so silly, please let the higher up's know the importance of this issue as if the AW import other auction and process through post sale stops working potentially thousands of your customers will be lost to competitors . I like to use Ebays TurboLister and I have some of our employees using AW to list but We really prefer TurboLister as it can launch many auctions the quickest and is the most compatible with ebay
