I am a new seler, I currently only sell on eBay. Up to this point I have only sold 1 product so the bulk of my auction text was always the same so I put it in default text.
Well now I have 2 new products that will need completely different auction text across the board. Is there a way to set it up so that these items use this default text, and these items use this text, and that group uses a different one.
I am trying to save time and limit the entry into each items inventory page. The way I have it now, just the title, image and first line of auction text is needed and the rest comes from the default listings.
Also is there a way to alter shipping for each type item. example: all of this type jewelry can ship for 2.00 for 1 item, 3.00 for 2 or free for 3. This other type of item is 1.50 for the first auction and .50 for each item after that. While this item has free shipping all day.
In order to create default "templates" for each of your items, you should create an inventory item for each item and list from your inventory rather than use default text, which will apply to all of your listings.
If you use inventory, for each item you create you will be able to specify individual shipping preferences.
To get started, go to Sales Manager and click the Inventory link in the left navigation bar. If you have any trouble creating your inventory items, please let us know.
