Hi! We really need some new templates. There are some other companys that are really coming up with a nice selection for other sellers to use. I have just the one that I like. Is it possible to post a tutorial on how to change colors on the templates you already have? I read this post previously...has anything been discussed at AW yet?:

AuctionWatch did a great job in adding some really cute Halloween templates, but how about some new holiday & post Christmas templates too? All the ones offered have been the same since last year and maybe longer? To be honest, I really don't like many of them! Can we please have a few new ones? Thanks

Hi Debdavis2,
I can pass your suggestion to product development for some new holiday templates. What kind of templates would you like to see?

Sonya

How about getting just simple colors as backgrounds without all the complicated graphics. I sell artwork and would love to be able to match colors etc or keep it real simple. The graphics slow the download for the ebay viewers.
I use auction watch primarily because of the color backgrounds as they are needed for black and white prints but the choices are limited.
Just a simple template with some more extensive color choices. Please pass this on to your techs.

Seasonal, NON Holiday Templates would be GREAT!!! A nice winter scene, without, Christmas or New Year on it would be appreciated for selling winter items. Thanks. egunderson

Thanks Tara! Can you please let us know what they say. I was visiting the Andale site & boy do they have some GREAT templates with GREAT options! And loads of them. This is very important to me, I am getting very tired of the AW template choice (or lack of). You really, really need some better looking templates that aren't so "dated" looking. I like everything else about AW and don't really want to spend the time to learn a new system. Thanks!!!

When you revise the templates can you make some generic holiday ones. Ones that don't have the happy holidays or Merry Christmas. Just plain with a winter scene, or thanksgiving with a autumn scene. Maybe don't put the wording in them. Thanks

How do you get the holiday templates? I click on updates when the software loads but I never saw Halloween or Christmas options? I have been hopeing for a soft pink for valentine and Pastels for Easter
You can easily add Holiday templates to the template selection in Sales Manager Pro. In order to do this, please complete the following steps:
1. Log on to your online account, click the My Account tab, then the site specifics for whichever auction site you most often use.
2. Scroll down and click the "See All Templates" button.
3. Select Holiday under "Choose Category".
4. You will see the list of Holiday templates under "Choose Style". Select whichever Holiday template you want to customize from this list.
5. Select the layout if your preferred layout differs from the default for the template.
6. Name and save the template. The next time you synchronize SM Pro, the template will be available for use (note that you will need to restart the application after synchronizing in order to update the templates.)
I hope this helps explain how our template system works. Please let us know if we can assist you with anything else.
Regards,
Sonya

Mildred - there is a pink template. I also see there are some new ones. When I was viewing someone's auction I noticed a new one so I went in and checked. I like the light black for the men's things I sell. Thanks.
I change my template when I do my auctions and that takes a little time. Thanks for the info Sonya I am going to try that way.

It would be great if there was a way to set the background color yourself like in the photo editing programs. Also like we can set the font with HTML editing in SMPRO. That way we could have any shade we want?? I find that if I can get a good template color that goes well with my item - I get more bids. That way everybody makes more money.
I loved the black Halloween with the spider webs - remove the Halloween reference and it's a great anytime template.

When I followed the directions and clicked on preview in the holiday section, this is what came up on a screen,
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pp_can_do_psm() in /var/www/lib/php/acp/custom_templates.inc on line 1411
Wow though, thanks for the information, I had no idea this was all available.

Can you give us an estimated time of delivery? One week, one month, one year? Also, what exactly is in the works? Will we have better options? I would really love to see a better template system. Check out what Andale has available & how it works. It is really nice. Could we make some requests? Thanks!!
Unfortunately I do not have a timeline for this. We welcome all suggestions for templates so if there's anything else you'd like to add that hasn't been mentioned, we would appreciate the feedback.
