If you have been attempting to upload via the Image Hosting tab, try switching to the Manage Images link found off of the Sales Manager tab instead. (or vise versa if you have been doing so the other way around.)
If you dial up through a modem, see if there is another local access number you can attempt instead.
Also, try lowering the number of images you upload. As a test, make sure you can upload one at a time, then try more. It sounds like your current connection is having trouble sending data, lowering the amount of data or trying another number may help.

Mara: I used to get "network connection broken" or something like that, when I hit Upload. I started doing what Christopher suggests, trying one at a time to see if it's "taking." Also, I always upload through Manage Images rather than Image Hosting.
Another thing I do is to keep using my computer while the pix are uploading, on the theory that if I keep the computer busy and in use, the God of the Computer may notice that I'm still here. So I usually go to my e-mail, which doesn't stop the uploading process. I used to hit Upload and literally go upstairs for about 10 minutes and do other things, then come back. Now I don't stay away from my desk quite that long. But it does take 5 to 10 minutes to upload all 15 pictures. Working fine for me now. Good luck to you.
