I couldn't get an answer to my last question so I'll try this one.
On many of my auctions, e.g. #3330199550 which is now live, the Paypal option is not showing up. I can't figure out why it isn't. Could someone take a look and let me know?

Ditto from me too! Just noticed in passing that Paypal isn't in the top section of my auction under payment methods accepted. Please, moderator, someone tell us how this happens and what we can do to change it!
I suggest everyone else check their current auctions, too. I hadn't noticed this earlier.

It looks like Sonya had a question for you, but you never responded back.
To add PayPal logos automatically to your listings, go to the "Payment Types Accepted" section of My Account -> Seller Preferences. Select "Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo" in your listings. If you use Sales Manager Pro or Business Edition, these online preferences will apply to listings created offline as well.
Note that if you select "Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo", eBay will insert a "Pay Now" button at the top of your closed listing. This button will take the winning bidder through eBay's checkout process (this option is unfortunately the only way that you can include PayPal in the list of payment options in red at the top of your listing.)

But, Christopher, it WAS there all along, in red in the top section. Has something changed with ebay lately? Very distressing, and I sure don't want to use Ebay's Checkout system!
I have never seen it appear at the top without enabling the PayPal Buy Now button. I don't know if eBay changed something, but this is how it has been for the past few months at least now.

Hi, Christopher: I have two questions!
1. Can I just not designate ANY payment methods in this area of the auction, leaving the standard message "see description for other payment methods accepted" or whatever it says as the only thing showing in that area of the auction?
2. When an auction is over, a box shows for the buyer's benefit, sort of a message box on the right of the first section. Do you know if I can use a red font color for that box?

I always had the "Paypal logo only" option checked and the option would appear in red at the top of the auction. Now, I've had to go back and revise every item manually through Ebay have Paypal listed. I believe something has changed. I have changed the option that you have recommended but I am not happy that this needs to be done.

Vendio never puts the paypal payment option in my auctions. I get 2 million emails from people saying the same question "Do you accept paypal??"
When I revise my items listed with Vendio, I goto the payment information section, specifically to the "Paypal: Payment will goto: [textbox]" section, and it says nothing in there, when it should say my paypal email address.
All this happens and I still have the vedio checkbox checked off and the vendio textbox filled in that specify that I accept paypal, and my address.
TinaMilner and Fenwick: Ebay made these changes earlier this year -- it is now set so if you want the red payment text to say PayPal, you will also be getting the PayNow button at the end of your listing that directs buyers through eBay Checkout. We cannot do anything about this, if you are not happy with it then you may want to provide some feedback to eBay.
Roadsmith: I'm not really sure what you mean by box showing up, is this on eBay Checkout or Vendio Checkout?

Thanks, Sonya. It would have been awfully good of Ebay to tell us this change, wouldn't it? Not your fault, of course.
Never mind my question about the box. Different subject. I've done it. It's in red now. By the way, I don't use Vendio OR Ebay Checkout. I was just talking about Ebay's standard form now when auction is over.

Forceten: Here's something for you! As an experiment, I went into my ebay preferences (in my account). You know the line where we tell where we're located? City, state? There was just enough room left in that to put I TAKE PAYPAL. I was afraid it wouldn't be accepted, but it was, and it's showing up in my auctions. (See Roadsmith's auctions for an example.) This will do it, I'm sure. I'm going to go in next and make it bright red. Very happy tonight!
