I am in the process of getting updated photos for my online inventory items. The easiest thing for me (I have 2600 images online) would be to give the new photos the same name as the old photos so that I don't have to edit each online inventory item to assign the new photos. But in the past when I try to delete online images & replace them with a new image of the same name, the old image returns. And the system won't allow me to overwrite image files with a new image file with the same name.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks
Susan

Hello Susan,

The truth is that when you delete an old image and replace it with a new one of the same name, *you* will sometimes see the old image in its place. The new image is actually there, but your browser, trying to save you time, serves up the cached image instead not realizing it as a new file.

Just clear your temp files/cache when you are done deleting the old and upload the new ones, then you should be sure to only see the new images.

Regards,
Christopher
