They only allow nine pix per auction. And many of my auctions have more. But all of my auctions have around 20 dot.gifs, reserving spaces for some future batch changes for the 250 auctions.

I thought that was cute but evidently Yahoo doesn't agree. I got through early on but now I can't post to Yahoo.

Am I misreading or are they counting those gifs though they have no real content?

Are you attaching the gifs as images? It sounds like they're counting the gifs as images.

No, I rarely attach more than one image and that is for gallery purposes. They just appear in the html of the auction.
