If you schedule an auction to recur 5 times in 5 days from on-line inventory, and on day 3 you change the specifications of the item in on-line inventory, which version will appear on day 4? The changed item or the original auction as appeared on day 1?
Changes made to the original will not carry over into existing listings. When you list a recurring auction, it pre-submits those items into your pending section with the scheduled time listed already, and those items will not pick up changes you make after setting them up to list.
You would need to go to the Pending section of the Sales Manager tab to manually edit those items. It would be better to unschedule them, delete them from pending and resubmit the recurring auction from inventory again.
