Hi, I am still on my trial period with Vendio but I like it and will be continuing with, but with which plan? What is the difference between Business Edition and Pro software and can you use either with all of the Sales manager pricing plans?
I apologize for the delay in my response. You will want to download Sales Manager Pro over Business Edition -- it has tons more features than BE does. We will not be publishing any more upgrades for BE -- we will still provide support for the program for those monthly plan customers that still have the program but if you are looking for an offline lister, SMPro is the way to go.
SMPro can be used with all Sales Manager plans and does not cost extra.

Thanks for the answer, but I have been looking at the two products side by side and it appears that BE seems more full featured than Pro. It seems as though there are more Sales Manager tools, Active Items, Post Sale Mgmt available in BE. I must be missing something in Pro, but it seems that after the listing and or creating inventory, everything else is handled online. Could you please give me your comments on this.
You are correct in that BE was built to handle post-sale offline, however, no new features have been added to BE for more than a year and we do not plan to add new features to BE in the future. All functionality available in BE is also available in Pro and online. The BE software is not available for download on our website anymore, so if there is an old link or promo somewhere we will need to remove it. Please let us know where you came across the BE download link, if you are able to find it again.

Thanks for your responses. It does seem to me to be useful to have some of the information that was available in BE available offline. Are you planning to upgrade and enhance Pro with some of those offline features? And finally, is there any problem with using BE with Vendio?

I am not sure at this time whether we will be adding post-sale functionality to SM Pro, while it is certainly a possibility. You can still use BE with our site, however, BE does not offer the ability to list to Vendio Store or eBay Motors, nor does it support custom templates, and features like auto-relist and recurring listings. Also, when we implement support for eBay Stores, we will not be updating BE to include this. So while you can still use BE to upload listings, you are missing functionality that you may need or want.
We would encourage you to use SM Pro and online post-sale as these tools are most up-to-date.
