Dear Friends,

Does anyone know how I can download my own online inventory. I had the AuctionWatch software on a harddrive that failed. Now, the only copies I have are those that are online in my Vendio inventory. I'd like to know if there is a way to download the newest version of the Vendio offline management software and to extract the online content to it?

Thanks,
newbreed

Hello newbreed,

Here is the link that will allow you to download your online inventory:

http://www.vendio.com/my/client/selectdump.html

Once the inventory has been downloaded into a .csv file, it can be imported using the following steps:

In Sales Manager Pro, go to Tools -> Inventory Importer -> Text File (comma-separated fields.) Find your file, click "Import", and map the fields.

In order to download Sales Manager Pro, please refer to the link below:

http://www.vendio.com/my/client

To ensure a smooth download and installation process, make sure that you select the "save to disk" option. Before you download, please close all open applications (such as virus checkers or firewall software) that may interfere with the download process.

Regards,
Christopher

Christopher,

Thanks for the help. I am in the process of synching my account after the SMPro installation. But while that is going on, please let me ask you another question. I'm currenly running this software on my Web server. Soon, I'll be aquiring another workstation. Once my network is running, if I access the SMPro software from the networked workstation while it resides on the server, will it be running on the workstation cpu or the server cpu?

Thanks,
newbreed

Hello newbreed,

If you access the program loaded on the server from another machine, it will still be running on the server directly, not the workstation CPU.

Regards,
Christopher
