Looking for any opinions from people who use mail step as an accelerator for post sale management.

does it actually work, what does not work with it and also does it work with AOL subscribers ( One of the main reasons to even consider this is that half of them do not recieve the WBN )Its Getting Really Redundant writing in addresses and payment info.

Any Help Anyone can provide is really appreciated

Thank you for your time

Hello Sportsource,

The Vendio Checkout is what you would want to consider using to get more buyers to use your Vendio WBN. The Vendio checkout will place a button/banner in your eBay listings so when buyers visit your listings after the items close, they can use it to go through the post sale process without needing the WBN. This is especially helpful for users that have SPAM filters setup too high to receive any of the automatic emails that are sent to them. (as you mentioned happening often with the AOL service)

The mailstep system is just an email forwarding service, to help process your Buy It Now listings more quickly by pushing them to the closed section where the WBN can be sent out closer to when the Buy It Now option was used.

Christopher

Hello Chris,

Thanks for your reply and all the help you always give me. The one Problem that I have is that i use a merchant account for paypal which saves a little bit in fees but the catch is that i must use their checkout button and advertise that paypal is my preffered method of payment to get the reduced fee. However, I also Use the Vendio checkout button as well in all of my listings I would say we get a 20% Response to the vendio checkout(email link or checkout button) But that is usually just the buyers that are going to pay by check or money order and need our mailing address. what i was hoping that the mailstep would do is extract the info from the paypal notifications so that i would not have to continuously hand write or edit the #2's for shipping and records. To send the buyers from the paypal link to the vendio checkout form wont work for me either as i use a paypal shopping cart at my website and fear this will create a mess there as well. I'm Really just looking to Free Up some valuable Time-- Ha Ha arent we all.
Thanks again

Hello Sportsource,

That would work actually, but it is step 3, not 2, that would be checked off when payment is received while using the mailstep system to record your PayPal transactions. FYI.

Hi Again Chris
but would it extract the info ( addresses and item # )from the payment email so I would not have to edit the #2's to get their address on an invoice and Packing slip
Thanks again Sportsource
