Even with the blank template, Vendio inserts some white space at the top (in the form a filler image) and at the bottom (in the form of line breaks). Any way to get rid of this?
Is there an easy way to copy an Inventory item to create a similar Inventory item (other than saving as a profile, then creating a new listing under "Create Listing", then going back to inventory to add SKU)?
I don't want to use Vendio for image hosting, is there any way I can use a URL for gallery image so I don't have to upload twice?
Since I'm not using Vendio's Image hosting or Templates is there any way to specify "The description already contains a picture URL for my item" field on eBay?
When I make a change to Global Settings, does it take effect on all new listings from that point forward, or do Inventory Items created before the change have to be manually updated?
Is there any way to use the new "Custom Text" areas in my own templates?
Thanks for your time and help,
Jeff (ferretbee)
p.s. I don't mind an Auction Management Service getting a plug in, but in my opinion, Vendio inserts way too many links, taglines and the word free into it's users listings.
1. At this time, you cannot edit out the default spacing at the top and bottom of the blank template.
2. There is no specific 'copy' function in inventory, the workaround you mentioned is one way to make a duplicate. You could also schedule an item to list using the original, then use the 'copy' link in your pending section for the scheduled item. Click on the copy in pending, check the save to inventory box, save the listing. Click on the scheduled item and use the undo launch option, then delete both from pending.
The way you mentioned is quicker/easier though.
3. The gallery image needs to be hosted here on Vendio at this time.
4. 'BLANK W Embed Images' - I just saved this template in your account. Using this template will tell eBay you have images within the listing so you get the camera icon, without needing to attach an image through our system.
5. The Global Preferences are just preferences to apply to new listings. Preferences do not carry over into existing data.
6. This text only appears in the new preformatted templates we offer at this time.
