Vendio needs to change the eBay preferences so we can take advantage of the eBay check box "The description already contains a picture URL for my item". Currently those of us that do not want to "take advantage" of the eBay photo preview still have the prview box at the top of the auction becasue Vendio uses the "clear dot gif" for a photo to get the pic icon on teh search results pages. If we could use the new eBay check box, then the clear dot would not be necessary in order to have the pic icon..

We are aware of this issue, and we are working on a 'fix' for the issue. The problem is that the eBay API is not yet compatible with this update. I'm sure they will make this available shortly through the API.
Thanks, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. In the meantime, you should be able to use the 'use the first image in the listing' as an alternate solution.

Diana: Thanks for your reply .. The "Use First Image" defeats the purpose of designing your own auction format.. You wind up with a large photo that is outside any table you might be using and it disrupts the flow of an auction.. Funny, eBay had the most succcesful format of all the online auctions.. Now, they are amking thier auction page format look more and more like Yahoo every day .. . Louis
