We have our settings at Pay Pal set on "off" for ALI.
Our settings at Vendio, in Global Preferences are set as you recommend, for Pay Pal, as we use Vendio Checkout.
We add a Pay Pal Smart logo in each auction text area, that says Pay Now after the auction.
Will we be OK ??
Will the Smart logo cause a problem ??

Hello Bill,
I don't believe the smart logo should cause a problem (though I'm not sure if Paypal will continue to support these.) I will post back if I find out otherwise.

Hi,
Smart Logo? Isn't that the one and same as ALI we have been speaking of? I have turned off ali on Paypal preferences and mark my global preferences to add the Paypal logo ONLY. But now I'm confused again. Is this Smart Logo another option we may have?
That being asked, may I add that I appreciate Vendio releasing this potential problem beforehand, so we can get this ironed out before the change. Thanks.

Hello gottaluve,
Paypal allows you to insert a 'smart' logo into your description text, without having ALI enabled. I am not entirely sure what will happen with the smart logos that are inserted into the listing text, but if ALI is off, it will not cause your listings to error on launch.
We'll let you know more about what will happen to the logo in default text as we get more information.
