First, BRAVO! It worked! The new automated recording of PayPal payments is EXTREMELY COOL! So if I’m getting this right, the last ten days of agony so many of us experienced while trying to adjust all our setting for the new Ebay/Paypal preferred payment transition was for nothing? As I understand it, the main issues resulted from the thousands of Vendio users who wanted to keep the Paypal payment option while encouraging buyers to actually use the Vendio check out system as the way to get to Paypal. We all feared that a prominent Paypal checkout button would lead buyers to circumvent the Vendio checkout, resulting in...what? We were all trying to prevent the use of the Paypal check out so we would avoid the hours it took to retrieve info from the Paypal payment notifications, and paste it into the Vendio post sale form. So now that Vendio reads those payment notifications FOR us, and retrieves the info FOR us,...what is wrong with just letting the buyers use the Paypal check out!?!?! Is this right, or did I miss something here?

Gotta.. And lest we forget the old days of last week, I should also point out that not only does the new automated system solve the "pasting" issue, but it removes my most hated chore....that of searching the post sale list over and over. Each individual Paypal payment notification required a time consuming search to find the auction it applied to. For me, the pasting was less irritating then the finding! Sellers all know that Ebay is a time vampire and I, for one, am greatful for any improvements that make it less so. I say again, B R A V O !!!

So are you saying that we CAN have the ALI turned ON at PayPal and the option at Vendio in Global preferences checked to "Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo in my listing" and not have problems launching your auctions???? What I have understood is the opposite. I want to PayPal Checkout button to appear after my auctions close. How do I do this and not have problems launching?

Ima... In my opinion, yes. If you WANT the PayPal Preferred Payment button to appear at the end of your auctions. I still prefer my buyers use the Vendio check out because I am asking them to make a shipping choice there that isn't available if they use an instant Paypal pay, but for those who were only avoiding the Paypal check out process because they didn't want to spend online time moving information from the Paypal notification email to the Vendio post sale process, the new Paypal payment integration appears to me to be the solution.

Well, I had my first customer to complain about using the VENDIO checkout last night.
She refused to go to an unsecure site.
I explained to her about this issue and finally just told her to go directly to PP.
I wish VENDIO would make the skeptical customers feel safer when using this site.
