How do I get the tracking # (which I've already put into the post sale when printing the label) to automatically show in my post sale note for notification of shipment to the customer?

Hello,
There is no identifier for tracking numbers so you would need to edit each shipment notification to include the tracking number. Unfortunately this means you cannot send the shipment notification automatically.

Could we put this in the suggestion box?
It seems that, if I put the tracking # in the post sale management, there should be some way for it to carry thru to the "your item has been shipped" email.

oh I second this suggestion- I thought it did inset the tracking number- I guess I wwas wrong- I've been telling my customers wrong-

Hi Sonya, thank you for your response. Could you please give me an idea of how long it would take for this suggestion to become a reality?
Since the tracking number is already in post sale, it can't be too big a deal to have it go thru to the item shipped email.
