Hi,

I tried to import my current listings into my Vendio Sales Manager. I clicked on "import my listings" about 4 hours ago.

Nothing happened. So, about an hour ago I tried it again . It says "a current import is already in progress. Please wait until it is finished".

Does it take more than 4 hours to import?

I also tried to import by using "track other items" by Seller and it said "cannot parse results".

Is there any way of retrieving my auctions and store items so that I can begin using Vendio Sales Manager right away?

Lori

Hello Lori,

Depending on the number of listings you have on eBay, the import process can take several hours to complete. Please try checking back a bit later.

We are aware of the issue with Track Other Listings, and we are working on the problem.

Thanks,

Diana

OK, I did the import almost 24 hours ago and my items still are not imported.

How can I get my current and closed auctions imported so that I can fully use the features of Sales Manager?

Thanks!

I am also not able to import listings. I get this message:
Error

An import operation is currently already in progress; please wait until it completes before attempting another import. Thank you!

Please, how can I import my listings? I did an import 30 hours ago and nothing happened. Any time I try to import again, I get a message saying "current import in progress". Where are the imported items?

I have 130 listings running that I would like imported so that I can fully use the features of Sales Mananger.

Thanks,

Lori

It's been 2 days now, and I still get the message that an import is in progress. This is becoming a real problem for me, and I'm sure others as well. I am not able to import my second chance offers, which leaves me in a mess with post sale options not available for those listings. PLEASE get this fixed, and at least acknowlege our concerns!!! Thanks....Gloria

I'm having the exact same import and tracking problems as others have mentioned. It's been almost 24 hours since I last tried to import two items. I get the same error message when I try to track items, as well.

Hello,

The import can take up to 48 hours -- it really depends on the number of active listings you have.

Horsehelper and Melissafan100 -- your listings have imported to your account.

Nycdesignsforless -- your import appears to still be in progress. What day did you start your import?

Regards,

Sonya

I started my import Saturday at noon. I have about 130 items listed.

Thanks,

HI Sonya ~ No, Mine have NOT imported, and when I click on import my listings, I still get the same message. I have never had an import take more than 5 minutes, so I think the 48 hour thing is a bit extreme. THERE IS A PROBLEM, AND IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!

Since I did the import, I now have a "security check" on my Ebay account every time I try to sign in. When I asked PS support why I have this new security check thing, they said it was because something tried to access my account with the wrong sign in information for a large number of times. Thus, a security measure was put into effect for the next 24 hours.

This happened AFTER I did the import. I believe Vendio has not been able to do the import for some reason but has continued to attempt to do it.

I have been told NOT to let any 3rd party software try to access my account for the next 24 hours or the security measure will continue indefinitely. This means I will never be able to list with a 3rd party program because they would not be able to see the 4 digit security number in order to sign in.

So, please stop the import. It does not seem to be working any way.

Thanks,

Lori

Hello,

We are aware of the slowness of import and are looking into it at this time. Keep in mind that the import is intended for new users to import their listings in once, and is not intended for multiple use. Any use outside of the one time import is unsupported.

What specific reasons are you using import for?

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya,

I am a new user and am trying to import my listings so that I can actually begin using Vendio Sales Manager.

If the import is still going on, then Vendio will probably NOT be able to capture my listings as they will need a 4 digit "security" code.

If they keep trying, the security code will never be lifted. My account must have 24 hours without an invalide sign-in in order for the security code to be lifted.

Never a dull moment with Ebay, LOL!

Hi, Actually, the TWO items I was attempting to import have not yet been imported. (I have just over 30 items TOTAL at the moment.) It has now been 24 hours and I'm still getting an error message when I attempt to import or track other auctions. I've done this before without difficulty, so it seems to be a new problem, I think? While I list most of my items using Vendio's service, I often list items directly through ebay and then import them at a later time so that I can watch and track them through Vendio.

I have always used Import to import my Second Chance Offers I send so that I can keep track of them along with my regular listings. I have never had a problem before. If Import is only supposed to be a one time thing for new users, then why is it available to all users? Then how should I import my Second Chance Offers? Thanks.....Gloria

Just to update: all of my items have now been successfully imported (the two I was trying to import, plus several additional auctions I had listed in the meantime). I haven't tried to import anything else or to track any other auctions so can't say if things are all working smoothly now or still running slow, etc. But thanks to the folks at vendio to getting this worked out for me.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. Import is the way to get Second Chance offers into your account -- I apologize for not mentioning that in my previous post. We do plan to support Second Chance, but I am not sure when that might be. For now, what you have been doing is fine.

If anyone's listings have not imported yet, please let us know.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya ~ Great! My listings have imported, and I just imported a few more. It worked fine, so I will continue to import as you said until I hear that there is a different way of handling Second Chance Offers. Thanks much! GLoria

Hi Everyone,

You should now be able to import without the slow hang time. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Sonya
