For the second night in a row I am having problems with my eBay Gallery image. Tonight NONE of my auctions have a gallery image. Last night one of them had a problem. At least tonight, eBay sent me an email about this (one of the very few benefits of being a Power Seller!).

Here is the significant part of their email --
"Your image appears to be corrupted, or in a format we cannot process:

Please ensure you are using standards compliant software while creating your image.
Try posting a new version of the image to your web site."

VENDIO SUPPORT -- CAN YOU CHECK THIS OUT? ANY IDEAS? Thanks!

BTW - I followed eBay's instructions and
'pretended' I was changing the gallery image ... but just kept what was there and it took the image. That's five auctions in a row I had to do this for ... a real pain-in-the-neck. Can't wait until tomorrow when I'm planning on listing over 20 items -- sure don't want to manually correct the gallery image all those times.

Can you give me any ideas why this is happening? Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks!

HELP AGAIN! Well, I THOUGHT I fixed it but I didn't. Just got ALL NEW email from eBay saying my image is NOT in the gallery. Looks ok to me but I'll take their word for it. Can you please check this out? Thanks!

Can someone please help me????I depend on this for half of my income and thought this Vendio would be an asset but now I'm not sure-please anyone could I get some advice-also when I sign on computer and go to sales manager it says server not accepted????What does that mean and what do I do???Please Help! Hello,

It appears that something unannounced changed at eBay recently regarding gallery images. A few of our sellers are noticing that eBay is not accepting their gallery images.

In the past, this has been a transient issue at eBay that sporadically occurred [e.g. all capitals image file names]. However, this recent development appears to be more severe.

We are working with eBay to isolate the root cause, and will post updates as we learn more.

Regards,
Christopher

Hi Christopher - thanks for getting involved in this. My auctions launched last night with gallery ok (first time in 3 nights with no gallery problems).

Please note that I do NOT name my images, the camera does and I use two types of cameras ... A Nikon and a Sony so there are two different naming protocols ... nothing involving capital letters that I can think of. Sony uses a "dscn###" protocol and the Nikon name things either "nikon##" or "img##". BOTH have been used for my gallery images that eBay has refused. Go figure.....

Thanks again.

Had another gallery image bomb tonight. Here's the image:

Already tried to "revise" the auction to trick eBay into thinking it had a new image... did not work. Still no gallery image. ARE THE VENDIO TECHS WORKING ON THIS?

This is getting costly!

Hello,

What happened when you tried to revise it that did not take? Was eBay giving you an error message when you tried to make the revision?

Christopher
