Hello Kim,

Are there any particular auctions in question where your images are not appearing, or has this seemingly passed?

Perhaps you are referring to the eBay gallery images only? If so, note that eBay is having technical issues with the eBay gallery currently and that would be the cause, if you were referring to those images specifically.

Christopher

Hello,

If your image hosting page is timing out, please try the following:

1. If you have more than 9 upload fields showing on your image hosting page, please reduce the number of upload fields to 9 or less.

2. If you are uploading from the Image Hosting tab, please try uploading from Sales Manager -> Manage Images instead. Make sure that there are 9 or less upload fields showing on this page as well.

3. Please try clearing your browser cache, and if this does not help (after trying the above solutions) you might want to try using an alternate ISP access number if there is one available in your region.

4. Try uploading using an alternate browser, such as Netscape if you are using Internet Explorer, and vice-versa.

5. Try uploading using our offline listing tool Sales Manager Pro, which is available for free download at this URL:

http://www.vendio.com/my/client/

If none of these solutions helps, please let us know which specific browser/version you are using, as this will help us identify the cause of the problem.

Regards,

Sonya

Hello,

What is the actual file size of your images? If they are bigger than 350 kb you will not be able to upload them. Try to save them at a lower file size if they are that big. Also, please try uploading one at a time.

Sonya

Just thought I would report back..I have this problem sporadically with the new bulk publisher feature and I can't figure out why. I tried clearing my cache, rebooting, clearing cookies...making sure nothing else was running in the background was my next step. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but I found success after shutting down all applications in my start menu except my anti-virus program (I have windows XP and used "msconfig" to unselect all the extras that were running)- Could it be possible that the "active x" or whatever it is that is used in AOL "Instant Messenger" (my kids always have this turned on)interferes with image upload? It seems when I turn it off that I have better success uploading images. Could be a co-incidence, but made me wonder about similar problems when I tried to do things through AOL (I have it closed almost all the time now).

Hi - there is definitely a problem. Yesterday, I uploaded 15 pics with no problem. When I went to upload the 16th, the image hosting page disappeared and flipped me to the eBay Search page. I have done everything suggested, and still cannot upload a picture. I am on broadband and use IE6 browser. This happened once before, last summer, but cleared up in a couple of days. Every time I click on my pic, the page flips to eBay search.

I have been able to load images to my Vendio account successfully all day. If there was a previous glitch in the system, it's all clear now. You can try uploading again.

Make note: you can try using a non-AOL browser (Internet Explorer and even Netscape) to eliminate any chance this is due to funky AOL behaviors.

DarinCS - I STILL cannot upload pics. As soon as I click on my pic (stored in my pc) to upload, the page flips to eBay search. Still doing it. I use Internet Explorer 6 and am on broadband.

Try emailing the picture to me... I'll try to upload it in your account. This will help elliminate the chances that's it's something wrong with your account.

Check your email for my address.

Hey! Now I can't upload! It was ok this morning. What is going on? I'm on Safari (browser, not vacation).

I also noticed that while checking my existing auctions on ebay that the pics would not enlarge.

This is Vendio I suspect.

Please advise

Now when I try to upload images I get the message "Service Unavailable" Could it be that Vendio had a problem the entire time and like ebay didn't want to acknowledge???

BIG problems.

The image upload system was s-l-o-w last night.

Today the image hosting service is simply not working.

When can we expect full service to return?

There is a major problem. Service for pictures is down, and I cannot list anything, because I have no pictures.

Vendio still shows that nothing is wrong, and we know there is something wrong.. NO PICTURES!!

Hello,

At the moment we are not experiencing any image uploading issues. If you are having trouble we recommend you try uploading just one image. If that also fails, please send one to us at [email protected] so that we may try to upload the image to your account.

Sonya

Hi Shadowwand,

This problem appears to be due to a proxy server issue within the AOL system. We suggest that you contact AOL regarding this issue. As a workaround, you may want to try using a different access number if you have one available locally. As always, please clear your browser cache before trying a different dialup number.

Regards,

Sonya
