I am writing in Sales Manger section, because it takes so long to get a response when I write in the Customer Manager Section.
When trying to open up any of our emails a dialog box opens that has the title, "file download". Under that is the next paragraph states: "Some files can harm your computer. If the file information below looks suspicous, or you do not fully trust the source, do not open or save this file."
That is followed by:
File Name: xxxx.html (I put in the xxx's as to not use actual file name)
File typ: HTML Doucment
From: www.vendio.com
That is followed by, "Would you like to opten the file or save it to your computer?
The options are: "Open, Save, Cancel, More Info"
When I try to open it states: The page cannot be found/Cannot find server.
Please help as we are not able to access any of our emails.
We have checked your account and there is nothing peculiar about your messages. The problem seems to be related to a browser setting, or some sort of malfunctioning.
We'd recommend you to check the Windows Update site (click Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Install the critical updates and Service Packs the site recommends, especially those for Windows and Internet Explorer.
If does not fix the problem, please let us know whether the "Download" prompt appears when clicking:
- message links in the "Inbox" pages
- the "Compose Message" link in the left navigation bar
- message links in the "Customer History" pages
- message links in the "Search Results" pages.
You could also try to check the Customer Manager pages using an alternate browser, if one is installed on your computer.

I made all changes you requested. I also tried Netscape and the messages can be read, however, the right hand side of the split screen is in html (it used to be in just regular text).
I ran all updates to Microsoft Internet Explorer....what in the world would cause only Messages from Vendio to not be read? This is the bread and butter of why we use Vendio (Customer Manager). I do not want to have to reopen alternate browsers just to view mail. What suggestions can you give me to fix the Explorer problems having to do with accessing Vendio Customer Manager Views. What is the IP address for incoming Vendio messages?...maybe I can make sure this is added to Explorer.
The Customer Manager problem, and the Invoice and Spell Checker problems that you've mentioned in other threads, are all related and are caused by an Internet Explorer issue.
As you can see, both articles deal with issues that appear after installing other Internet Explorer fixes. We assume that you have already installed Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Internet Explorer 6.0; if not, please do it now.
What we recommend then is to install the patch available in the second article (#827667).
If this does not fix the problems, you might want to contact Microsoft, as instructed in the first article (#822002); please note that gzip, frames and JavaScript are all used on the Vendio site.
