I am having SO MUCH TROUBLE WITH SALES IN STORES....because of the variety of items and different type.....i have not put in a $ figure for shipping....and people think shipping is free...so when an item sells for a dollar.....i get hung for 6 and 7 in shipping....PLEASE rtemove the shipping 0.00 option you have in the software...i cannot make changes...and have had to suspend my store auntil we can get this straightened out......your wbn letters lead them to believe its all free....

Hello,

You need to set up the shipping cost for each item. How are you listing these -- through Sales Manager Pro, or from your Sales Manager Inventory online?

i set it up with csv file.....i can't set up shipping with EACH item because i don't know how much the glassware will weigh vs shoes, vs a pin etc......i have too many items.....i just want the shipping option OFF of the store items....my notation is that buyer pays shipping....period....then when an order is placed, i will confirm and prepare pkg for shipping with a $ amount.....

Hello,

Unfortuantely you cannot list an item in your Vendio store without specifying shipping. The problem with leaving it at 0 is that when the buyer purchases an item, they'll go through checkout and the final total will be the cost of the item only. You can't go back for a store item and change the shipping and reinvoice the customer.

If you want to list everything with no shipping, we recommend you use a custom field and put SHIPPING TBD and leave the price at $0.00, however this will mean you will have to collect the shipping a different way as you can't make it a part of the checkout for that item if it's not specified in the beginning. You can also use USPS Priority Calculated which allows the shipping to be calculated based on your zip code, and the buyer's zip code.

Regards,

Sonya

what i have done is remove the 500+ items that have different shipping totals and just listed 400+ that have a flat rate shipping and included multiple discount which can be applied if more than one item is ordered at once...i hope this works.....but it does remove my ability to sell other items in the store....
