I have been considering adding a shipping calculator to my auctions. I now have fixed pricing that automaticaly goes into the auction when listing. I would like to change over to using a calculator in my description, however don't know how this will affect the auctions that I have going now. One...if I revise auctions description that is currently listed, what would I do about the shipping cost that is already listed after my description box in the template? I think I would need to change my specifics so as not to automaticaly be listed in the auction, but how will that affect already listed items? Sorry this could be confusing, hope you see what I'm getting at.

If you were to add in a shipping calculator in your listings, when they end, you would need to edit your checkout and put in the shipping cost. You wouldn't be able to use the auto WBN or offer checkout right when the listing ends, though -- you'd have to have the shipping specified right off or use USPS Priority calculated (which is our only shipping option that has calculation based on zip code).
If you edited active listings and added in the shipping calculator, and you had the WBN or Checkout on for those items, you'd most likely need to turn off the auto WBN so that when it ends, after you get the exact shipping for that customer, you can edit the WBN with the new shipping options and send it out to the winner.
I hope this helps -- if you are confused, let us know.
