Hello Sonya and thanks for your help on my previous question concerning Paypal and items listed in the mature section.
I have another question for you on the same topic.
Sorry if it might get a little confusing.
Being that I list a good amount of mature and regular auctions at the same time I find it pretty cumbersome to first list the regular auctions with the paypal payment option selected and then go back into my preferences to deselect the paypal payment option so I can list the mature items.
Basically I would like to upload them all at the same time.
Let me know if you think this would work or on how i might be able to improve upon it:
What if I was to deselect the PAYPAL option from my seller preferences in Vendio and go onto the paypal site and have them automatically attach their paypal payment info to the auctions.
This way the PAYPAL logo will go on all the regular auctions and not on the adult since paypal doesnt allow it.
Do you think that this would work with my post sale management?
I am basically looking for a way to post both types of auctions without going back and forth changing preferences.
You should be able to de-select the Paypal option as you create the listings for your adult items - if you do this, you should be able to create a batch of listings containing both adult and non-adult items and launch them altogether. As long as you don't have the word "Paypal" entered in any of your text, and the Paypal option is deselected when you create your listing, you should be able to launch your adult items without having to alter your Paypal settings.
Please let us know if you have additional questions about this.
I do realize that when I create auctions I can deselect the PAYPAL option and when I save it , it saves it to my pending auctions and that indeed does save it the way I would like and the auction is launched without paypal as a method of payment...which is fine.
But, that is not the problem. The problem is that when I have these auctions saved already in my INVENTORY and launch them, they always come back error since it is an adult auction trying to be listed with PAYPAL.
Please re-read my initial question with that now in mind...thanks

Ok, sorry - since you are launching from inventory the solution I posted will not apply.
As far as I know, Paypal is phasing out ALI (though I still see it is available on their website) in favor of the preferences at eBay. If you deselect Paypal as a payment option on Vendio, and you have Paypal selected in your eBay prefs, the Paypal logo will still appear at the bottom of your non-adult listings. I would imagine that this will be automatically removed for adult items, and I would imagine that ALI would eliminate the logo automatically from adult items as well.
A drawback to this will be that Paypal will not be displayed as a payment option in the body of your listings and if you are using Vendio checkout, it won't be offered. You might be able to use the ALI option, but as I'm not sure of the exact behavior I would recommend testing a couple to see the effect.
