I have a person saying that my auctions are causing problems and that Vendio is the cause.
Here is their last email:
-------------------------------------------
It's with the full blown Vendio page. When just using the counters or
partial selling aids, it's seems OK - there is a delay. That's how I
figured out it's Vendio watching Navigator asking Vendio for stuff at
the bottom of the window. It leaves code behind which clears all windows
- they load but are blank and the particular Vendio page which causes it
only displays down to the Description area - from there down is blank.
And the sad part is Vendio claimed it was my computer & errant code I
intro'd - once I got mine stable, the only item I upgraded was to
QuickTime 1.5 years ago - it has only started in the last few months.
While Nav goes blank, it will crash IE which I only use as in an
emergency because it's a lot more tolerant of Javascript errors. There's
a lot of bad code out there - my sister is a software hotshot/consultant
on the SAP stuff from Germany and warned me.
Thanks again,

Hello whatnot3,
Has your buyer tried viewing the listings in IE instead of Netscape? If so, do they get the same effect? Also, I can't say for sure if this has anything to do with it, but it appears that there are some errant HTML tags in your default listing text - please check your HTML because it appears that there are too many closing FONT and B tags.

I assume you mean the custom listing text since I don't use the default listing text box anymore.
I just looked checked it and it was a mess. I think I removed all the extra junk. I will have the person try looking at an auction after I list some new ones.

I just got another email from the bidder.
-------------------------------------------
Retried your listing and the description area did not load but the
Vendio checkout did and the lower part of the page with the shipping &
payment info and the enter bid box did not.
So I turned on Java & Javascript and got errors. Typed javascript:
into the URL and this is where the page craps out:
JavaScript Error:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2596778422, line 144:
can't convert NaN to an integer.
JavaScript Error: http://www.javascript.com/, line 76:
unterminated string literal.
