I just received what looks like a spoof from CitiBank regarding accounts being compromised and money laundering, terrorists etc. Is there someone other than SpamCop I should send it to? Is there a spoof address for Citibank?
I closed out that account as soon as they sent a notification that they were closing out the online payments so my information would not be out there.
I deleted my bank account from it first, changed the password to nonsense and it had an old email address connected to it. This spoof has my NEW email address on it.

Hello,
I would try the basic [email protected] address or [email protected] and see if they go through without bouncing back. Its definately spam from the sounds of it, or we would be watching the ticker on CNN reporting such a huge bank being hacked into.
Unfortunately, the way this email works, it will be nearly impossible for even spamcop to see who actually originated it or even if that person was simply hacked into and used to send it in the first place.
Just be sure not to open it within outlook (if viewing from the preview pane) or visit any of the links within.

I had the same thing, but I couldn't figure out a CitiBank spoof address so I just sent it to the trash. Marshall

Yes the regular fraud addresses did not go through. I finally found this link and used the first highlighted words for one that is not on their list "report it now". I feel bad for those who fall for this stuff, it's sure looking more official all the time.
