When I receive a paypal payment, I get a checkmark in Sales Manager on payment received.

For all items EXCEPT eBay store items

Is there a setting that I need to change someplace?

Do you have the IPN set up correctly?(Possible Hint)

Check this link:

http://www.vendio.com/promo/mailstep/ipn_tran.html

Make sure the "Post-Sale Acceleration" settings are correct under MY ACOUNT (Vendio)

My Ebay Store items payments log correctly.

This appears to me to work if I were using mailstep...which I'm not.

The regular ebay auctions update within my sales manager. Just not the eBay store items.

Hello,

The mailstep system and the PayPal IPN tool are two completely seperate systems. The PayPal IPN tool is the only that is supposed to be setup to track and mark items as paid in all cases, regardless of the type of eBay listing or where the buyer went to checkout for the listing.

Sooooooo

Unless I sign up for mailstep, I will continue to get items marked paid for auctions....but, not eBay store items?

This doesn't make sense. Vendio knows when I receive a paypal payment for auction items, but, not eBay store items?

Hello,

No, you dont need mailstep, mailstep is unrelated.

Just check to see if you have your PayPal account setup with the IPN service.

Click here to see the directions on setting up the PayPal IPN service, which is really just going and pasting a URL into your PayPal account and your done.

Regards,
Christopher

Just one more question...

if I put that url in for payment notification preferences, does that mean that the only way that I will be notified that payment has been received is in Sales Manager? I currently receive an email from paypal.

What about paypal payments received from sales at my website?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but, I want to make sure that I know what I'm doing and changing

You will still receive your PayPal notifications by email.
