I just installed Norton on my laptop and it informed me of an update. After I updated and rebooted it said I was missing system.exe.
I can't find where anything is different except my settings in SM Pro were gone. Was this a Vendio file?

It probably was. Sometimes the anti Virus software corrupts files.
Try this procedure and let me know what happens:
In order to download Sales Manager Pro, please refer to the link below:
http://www.vendio.com/my/client
To ensure a smooth download and installation process, make sure that you select the "save to disk" option. Before you download, please close all open applications (such as virus checkers or firewall software) that may interfere with the download process.

I updated everything and it appears to be ok now so I'll just leave it alone for the time.
I can always download again if I find any other issues
