Today I noticed that 3 of my auctions ended up being put in Gallery. I didn't specify for this to happen (I never place my auctions into Gallery). This same problem happened about 4 weeks ago (I was not the only Vendio customer having this problem). Ebay had changed something and Vendio didn't know - long story short, the customers were being billed for gallery fees (.25/ea). Please check these three auctions as these were the only auctions (today) that were billed for this:

4317492413 Gallery Fee $0.25
3924641331 Gallery Fee $0.25
7915029152 Gallery Fee $0.25

Any other sellers find the same problem today (or until ebay fixes the problem).

I'm having exact same problem. My listings today have gallery images that I did not specify. And of course they are not working on ebay. Of course am being charged although I did not choose them. Is a miscommunication between Vendio and ebay. What can we do!!??

Hello,

The word was eBay was to push a fix yesterday afternoon to correct this, but either didn't or it didn't correct the issue.

You will want to request a refund from them for this fee, and can reference "eBay DTS incident 040729-000003" in your request (just in case there is any question as to the cause.)

We will continue to monitor this issue and post back as soon as we have more information available.

Regards,
Christopher

hi christopher, gosh its been years since we last spoke?
where does one apply for the credit for all the auctions that have been charged by ebay for the gallery fee's?I had lost money 2 weeks ago,on "free shipping",which wasnt my error, this isnt so much but I still cant afford to lose money everytime I list with your company or ebay.thank you

Hello thedollladym,

You can do this by using the eBay 'contact us' form, by selecting 'Ask about selling (for sellers only', then 'Billing and fees', and finally 'Requesting a listing fee credit.'

On the next page you can click to email customer service at eBay, and then can provide a list of item numbers that have been affected along with a note mentioning the above statement about a refund for the gallery fee that was not selected.

Regards,
Christopher
