First of all please allow me to comment on my overall high approval of your service. After many years of Vendio/Auction Watch subscription I have found your options invaluable for my eBay auction business. You have kept my interest and continued involvement through dependable operations coupled with innovations/additions to your service options while maintaining an affordable price.
Over the past few years I have learned more about producing HTML auction descriptions that I think are more appealing and informative by including auction specific graphics that I have created throughout the presentation. I also would like to apply this style and process to my eBay "About Me" page. Even your least pre-constructed template does not easily allow for the inclusion of my graphics throughout the production. I now believe that I can come closer to accomplishing my intended layout but this will include hyper linking the graphics .jpg files in the HTML inserts. Of course the .jpg files must be web hosted so naturally I look to the "Image Hosting" portion of my Vendio account to host my images so that I can obtain the URL needed for the HTML document, just as I did for my eBay "About Me" page. I find the fact that I must include your advertisement along with the images or risk loss of my account to be unreasonable. Including your ads with every image would take up space in presentations I am trying to keep as clean and concise as possible. By it's sheer redundancy throughout the documents it would distract from my intended look and message. As this result is not acceptable to me I am left with the option of going to another web image hosting service and essentially paying again for something I thought I already possessed.
This all leaves me wondering "Why?" I understand anyone's desire to take every available, prudent, opportunity to advertise and promote their business to prospect new customers but not, I would think, at the inconvenience of their loyal existing customer base. I would greatly appreciate your explanation for, what I consider to be, this restriction to the "Unlimited" image hosting that I have been paying for. I can't believe that I am the first subscriber to question this intrusive policy that includes forced compliance.
Please reply. I will consider any reasonable explanation that does not include the inference that you can do this because "company policy" says you can. That's not a fair attitude! A little bit of the old "customer is always right" attitude would be refreshing even if you can't or won't reverse this policy. If I am all wet on this issue or I am wrong in any of my assumptions or assertions please set me straight with the facts. I will apologize for the inconvenience and proceed along on your prescribed paths according to the information you provide. It is my hope that you will, in some way, satisfy my confusion and relieve my frustration.
Thanks!

It is a requirement to include credit text when you use Vendio Image Hosting, however you don't have to do it for every single image. As long as you have it on there once, it will be okay. I hope this eases your frustrations -- if you need any help getting the proper URLs for your images, please let me know. If you don't have the right one then the image won't refresh and you could risk image deletion in the future.

Thank you for your reply even though all my questions were not answered but skirted with your solution. I consider your concession workable and I will proceed accordingly. I appreciate your consideration and effort.
Thanks!

Hi. Are you launching through vendio or just using their image service? If you sign up for the no monthly fee plan and imbed your .jpg image html as a vendio launch and do not use the clickable enlargement feature, all your images for auctions will be free (but not for the about me page) and they will just appear normally without ads--the only compulsory vendio credit will be once at the very bottom of the listing.
If you sign up for the no monthly fee plan and embed the image codes without launching from vendio, you will be charged for the images but there will be no ads (if you don't use the clickable image feature). My big pink and yellow logo pic on my About Me page is html embedded and hosted by vendio without any ads anywhere if you want to go look (passedtothepresent). You have to pay for image hosting service anyway so it is a matter of how to pay and how much is it worth to get rid of the ads. At least with this method there is no monthly fee for auction services you are not using if you don't list with them--just the image fees as part of the plan arrangement. The vendio enlargement blow ups are always plastered with huge ads, but not the images embedded full size (whatever size you want) in your description. Hope that helps.
