before ebay allowed us to change the category numers ( i will give 1 example ) my category number one was PEPLUM , then i took this category to the number 14 and now it appears on my ebay store manager ( on ebay ) as number 14 . on my store category on vendio it still appears as number 1 after i updated the categories several times as indicated by vendio : The incredible thing is that items are posted ON THE RIGHT category when i make an auction. Why is this ?

Hello,

I am going to test this and see if I can replicate this problem. I am also going to delete all the duplicate posts.

Are you referring to moving the position of the category?? In other words moving category 1 PEPLUM, to position 14.(the 14th category that shows to your buyers) If that is it, you didn't change the category number just the place that it shows up. (Catagory 1 shows where catagory 14 was, it is still catagory 1.) I am getting ready to do that so that all of my rock items are together and all of my carvings are together farther down on the list.

After you update your eBay store categories on ebay, you have to update Vendio: go to "My account" in Vendio--> "ebay site specifics" and where the store categories go there is a link to update your categories.

Hello,

Please let us know if you did indeed move the position (Kevinatgrannys's suggestion). Everything appears to be working as it should with eBay Store categories, from what I have checked, so I'll need more information before escalating the problem (if that was not the case).

Regards,

Sonya

Hello,

Thank you for your response. I've tested this, and was able to see what you are referring to regarding having the display order shown rather than the ID number of the category. I've escalated this and will get back with you when I have a response. For now, as long as you have your order set in eBay, when you list in Vendio to your eBay Store and you categorize it -- the items you list will go in that order, regardless of the ID number of the category being shown for choosing.

Regards,

Sonya
