Hello,
I checked your account and the images that you just uploaded are appearing for me. Please try clearing your cache and refreshing your page, let us know if this helps. Are you able to see others you uploaded prior to today?
Regards,
Sonya

Hi Sonya, Thank you for your reply...but....this is not working. When I get to the "Create Listing" page, there are no images. Not the new ones that I uploaded today or any of the old ones. None of my images are appearing on the page. I hope someone can fix this soon. Thanks again! Debi

I gave up on trying to attach images to my auctions already in pending and tried to do a brand new listing. I followed your directions...
"Once you have found the image that you want to attach to your listing, click on the image name to display a preview of the image in the Preview Images pane. To attach the image displayed in the Preview Images pane, click the ‘Attach’ button. Your attached image will now appear in the Attached Images pane. You can detach the image by clicking the red ‘X’ icon, which appears below the image. "
Problem is...I click on my image and the preview doesn't come up in the display. If I click on attach without the image coming up I just get the empty box with the red X.
I have about 4 hours to fix my 30 or so pending auctions and type in another 65 new auctions. I have to get these auctions launched as they are Trading Assistant auctions. If I can't get these launched today it's going to look bad for the person I am doing these for.
Please Please help me get around this problem.
It looked like it might have worked to attach an image straight from my manage images page but you would charge me xtra to do it that way...What to do!

Hi fmlytimes,
I have also checked and I also see your images. I see that you have uploaded MVC145S through MVC180S, all of which appear in the Create Listing page.
I suspect this may be a browser issue. Can you tell us what browser you're using and what operating system?
Thanks,
Chuck

Hi fmlytimes,
Yes, indeed I can preview and attach images to your pending listings. Can you say what browser you are using? And are you running any browser-related software like toolbars, popup blockers, etc?

Debi, Does it say Microsoft Internet Explorer on the blue bar on the top of your screen? If so, you are using IE. If you are using SBC Global as your isp you might be using Mozilla (sp).
Just a couple of suggestions.

Hi Chuck, I'm running MS Internet Exporer and I don't think I'm running any of the other software you mentioned.

Next question. Have you gotten SP2 from Microsoft?? You would know because you would have a huge download that once completed would require a restart.

No, I have not done any MS downloads lately. I would definitely remember that.

Oh good! The SP2 does have a pop up blocker but...since you don't have it I am out of questions. That should give a bunch of the information for the Vendio people to go on.

Thank you Kevin!! I'm really stuck here. Is this something that Vendio can fix quickly?

Did you upload the images in a folder? Make sure the right folder is clicked. Can you do a "search" if you know the title ?

Hi! I uploaded the images from my desktop and did not use a folder. They are all unfiled. Actually, I just uploaded a few images directly from Vendio to see if that would work and NO GO. Still no pics.
I feel like a real bone head here but I just realized that I do have the SP2 update. I looked through all of my programs and found it....I think. It says Windows XP Hotfix (SP2). I'm really trying hard to understand all of this and get it fixed so I appreciate any help.

Nope, you don't have it. It would say Windows XP Service Pack 2. In full, just like that. You got the hot fix before you have SP2, I had the same thing. So, still no worry there. Have you tried shutting down your computer and restarting?

Hello again Kevin. Glad to hear SP2 is not the problem. I restarted twice and still nothing. Those search buttons on the "Create Auction" page don't work either. Guess I just get myself a stiff drink and hope someone will get this fixed soon.

Okay, since I am not going to list anything anyway today, walk me through what you are doing and lets see if I can duplicate it. Where are you starting an auction from (Control Panel, Manage images ect...)?

Hi Kevin and to those of you watching this post.
I've been working with Vendio and we finally figured out that if we disabled my McAfee Privacy Service the images appeared.
So for now I have the service off BUT Vendio is working with McAfee to fix the problem. I'm sure an update will be posted. Thanks a bunch to all those who helped. Debi

Debi,
Glad to hear that you got it worked out. That is one of the problems that I have run into not only with McA but some of the ISP's as well (AOL comes to mind) The protection that they offer is fine unless you are actually trying to use the web. Oh well, at least Vendio is trying to fix the problem where as ebay tends to ignore them and hope that they will go away. (Don't know how many times that I have had to send text only invoices out to buyers because of "protection' kicking it out.) You have a great day!!!
