Can someone please tell me why I can't upload any images?

Good thing I only tried one pic to test it out, it just went to a new window (blank white) and stalled out. I had to quit out of the program. This happened twice.

Did I miss something? I am I supposed to be doing something different now? Or is this messed up too?

Hi skizzi99,

Sorry if I sound like a broken record, but can you tell me your browser (including version) and operating system? We have tested uploading on various operating systems and browsers without issue. Let's see if we can recreate your problem.

Regards,

Chuck

HELP Sonya please, now you know I'm a pretty quick study, but I'm afraid that this new image hosting thing has me befuddled. I took the month of August off and thankfully loaded all my pending auctions yesterday before the change. But I started reading the posts and saw some sellers complaining about images disappearing from pending auctions that also were relisted before the change. So I started checking all my pendings and found one with the images missing. I had put them on yesterday and put the auction in pending to be listed next week. I can't for the life of me figure out this new method. The pics are uploaded in image hosting but I can't get them loaded on the auction. Those two silly boxes you have on the left and right with having to list a folder or find a page don't work. The older system with the drop down box for images was so simple why did you have to make it confusing? Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch and I will be able to get those pics on in a day or so. Please tell me it's just a glitch. And if anyone of you tells me to clear my cache I will rescind my offer to Sonya to come visit in France. The images in question are on page 3 and listed as cobaltvase1.jpg and cobaltvase2.jpg. Thanks, Steve

These are the boxes I'm referring to. No matter what I do, putting in a page number or a folder number I can't get the images to appear in the box on the right to put into the auction. Steve

Hi skizzi99,

We have confirmed there is an issue here and are researching ways to address it. I still don't know, however, when we'll have a fix. In the mean time, if you need to upload images, another forum thread found mozilla to work well for Macs. You can download it free at http://www.mozilla.org/.

We will respond as soon as can with any other workaround or fix. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Yours,

Chuck

Hi cyberageart,

In another post, a user with the same issue found her McAfee Privacy Service was blocking the image list. Do you have any such application or service working? If you do, try disabling it to see if you can see your image list.

Yours,

Chuck

Ok Chuck, I deleted temporarily my Mcafee privacy service and my images came up in the box where they are supposed to be. That is all of my images except the two I needed namely:"cobaltvase 1&2". Couldn't get them to show and they weren't on the list. I know they are loaded because I can see them on page 3 of the image list. So I shot new pics - uploaded them and all is fine. Does this mean that everytime I want to load images I need to delete Mcafee Privacy service or is this a temporary problem? I pay for that service and am not happy about disabling and enabling everytime I have to load images. Just two more steps in the process that I don't need. Also while loading the new images it seems to me that the process involved more steps than the old way.By the way why is Mcafee Privacy affecting Vendio images? I don't understand what one has to do with the other. Please advise your thoughts on the above. Thanks, Steve

I should have said while loading and attaching the steps seemed to be more than the old way. Steve
