I Have my auctions set-up in "global preferences" to combine s/h for items only if sold on the same day. Yet, I have buyers that combine their winnings and get the s/h discount when they have purchased on more than one day. This has been a problem for me for a long time and is now starting to irk me, because I have to get up bright and early and combine the multiples by hand. Please tell me that I am doing something wrong and that I can fix it! Or, that you can fix it, thanks!

Hi there,
Sorry for the troubles. I'm not sure if this is the reason why this is happening, but I believe that combined purchases are on a calendar day. It is not 24 hours. Would that be the reason why this happened to some? If not, could you please give me some auction numbers that you've had troubles with so that I can be of better assistance.

This happens for auctions that end even a week apart. ORDER 709853323 & ORDER 709309378 are examples of orders that didn't combine properly. Thanks for lookig into this
We did check into this further, but it appears to be blocking items from being automatically combined according to the set number of days.
The one thing to keep in mind is that setting items to be available only when closing within 1 day of each other is that this does not mean the same day, however items closing one day earlier or later than the other in the order.
If you run into another case where this happens, please let us know.

This isn't the problem that I am having. . . I can have items that ended as much a week apart and they are combining as if they happened according to my rules. The rules I had were very specific. . . any order that ends in one calender day gets all items shipped for one price, but only if they end in the same calender day. Order 709309378 falls into this catagory. . . the rules should have had this order with no combined discount given that its two items ended about a week about.
